MSNBC Morning Joe - besides the nonsense and silly Joe’isms (Biden has a competitor) in the first couple minutes, the rest is worth to be seen by media and politics junkies. Carl Bernstein and Chuck Todd - the meta conversation from reporters about what they do and what they should do…

When it comes to medicine and public health, it’s all about politics and statistics and money. How many people are affected? How much money will it cost? Can we justify it spending on this and not on that? Tough decisions.

This was a particularly great Episode with too guests who could hold their own against a fired up Stephen Colbert. The Desktop-Interviews are very hard to do, because there is not a lot of time and has to move quick. It was surprising how informative this quick interview with Howard Dean was. There was a joke about the Republican Health Care Pseudo-Plan, that made me burst, and even Stephen had to laugh. Afterwards you see an interview with ‘the’ expert on Counter-Insurgancy David Kilcullen. If I remember correctly his first US-TV appearance was on the Rachel-Maddows-Show on MSNBC a while ago.

Col. Lawrence Wilkerson saying it like it is. The former Colin Powell’s Chief of Staff takes no hostages when he talks about the former Administration and backs up what Nancy Pelosi failed to express in her Press Conference last week.

The dirt in politics smells bad, indeed.

…meanwhile in the UK a near-revolutionary event happened. You cannot cope the size of this moment, unless you are very familiar with British politics for many decades or a historian or at least an ordinary, politically interested British citizen.

best vid capturing the moment from last week. While Nancy Pelosi tried to do one thing, she was caught up in her bad personal performance. You sometimes can observe people being uncomfortable lying or trying to turn the focus away from themselves and their flaws to see the bigger picture.

By all means, accusing the CIA of misleading and lying, by the Speaker of the House, is a grave moment in US-politics.
